Todd County is located in Central Minnesota. It is named for John Blair Smith Todd, a Union General during the civil war.
The seat and largest city is Long Prairie. It borders Wadena, Cass, Morrison, Stearns, Douglas and Otter Tail Counties.
Main highways include I-94, US-10, US-52, US-71, MN-27 and MN-210.
